Stop eating canned veggies.

Lol. I don’t think I’ve ever eaten a canned vegetable. Asparagus is just nasty.

What is your veggie of choice PP?

Literally any other.

Seems odd that so many people are cooking asparagus.

Asparagus is harvested in the northeast at this time of year, so it is an appropriate spring choice. The seasonality of it also means that grocery stores have it on sale now for far less than the usual price. It's ok if you don't like it, though! You don't have to like every vegetable. I enjoy asparagus, but I dislike green beans. To each their own!

Just our family - I’m not up for hosting my family this year, since it means waiting on my father and my nightmare dysfunctional sister.

Croissants for breakfast, I bought an assortment of the frozen ones at TJ’s. OJ, coffee, fresh raspberries, probably scrambled eggs. Maybe I’ll bake a carrot cake later - yum!

Yes, it’s not at all odd that people are fixing a seasonal vegetable. I’m not a fan of corn, but it’s not odd that people eat corn in the summer.

It’s in season. I’m literally getting some from my yard every other day.

So good. I bet you haven’t had it prepared properly.

Even my kids love asparagus

I love asparagus, but we aren’t having it. We had it a week or so ago. It’s a great vegetable to go with Easter dinner though. We are having ham, potatoes and green beans.
