Bingo… There are a few stores out there that sell personal toys. If you’re that worried, there’s one on Route 50 just outside Ocean City. If you run into anyone you know that far away from your location, you were not meant to have a personal toy! 😁

Don’t do the obligatory order from your friend’s friend who is selling them at her home MLM party. Because that will come in a plastic envelope for every person who came in contact with that package to feel. Including your super religious mailman who has been your mailman for 15 years.

Sephora has sex toys online.

If someone can recognize a sex toy by the feel of it through layers of envelope and padding, they are obviously a connoisseur and have no standing to judge.

It depends on what you want. If you just want a basic vibrating toy the can be had at drugstores, Walmart and maybe Target. If you want something more exciting you’ll have to go to a store that specializes in that stuff or go online. The number of options and choices can be fun yet daunting. The great thing about a specialty store is that you can see them and even handle display models before making a decision. Online stores can have lots of reviews but I’m not sure they’re all real.

I have a separate Amazon account/profile b/c our kids use our account and I like to not broadcast their upcoming birthday/christmas gifts. But this is also smart!!!

Depending on what you want, OP, did you know that CVS carries a few sex toys? I was surprised the first time I spotted them. I'm used to seeing them in the equivalent type of drugstore in my DH's home country, but wasn't aware that CVS had some basic vibrators for sale. I think it's great they're out there on the shelves, right by the condoms. But if you want anything more interesting than their limited offerings, you'll need to go to a speciality shop or go online.

So does Target, typically bigger selection than CVS.

Amazon, and then hide the order so it doesn't show in your order history

OP here. No, I'm not trying to hide the purchase from my spouse. I'm trying to avoid getting on a bunch of mailing lists for sex toy companies. Buying a sex toy doesn't embarrass me but I'm paranoid about getting junk mail advertising sex toys while having little kids in the house.

They are discreet all the way around and don't send mailings. Emails yes, paper mail no.

Of course, you should wear a disguise if buying in person.

This has never happened to me and I've bought a few things from different companies over the years.

And if it did happen I would not care. If my kids were old enough to see it and know what it was I'd say "huh, that's odd" and toss it. This is a weird hangup.
