Biggest purchase you made for your kids?

We also got a fancy trampoline with netting and that was by far the most used thing we ever bought the kids- 4 or 5 year of non-stop bouncing for our kids and neighborhood friends.

We bought a kid a house. We took the fam on a $100k safari. Etc.

We bought a more expensive house solely for the schools. Nothing else will come close LOL.

You took the the two biggest items off the table: college and car. I think the next biggest item was $3k for an upright bass, but we could have sold it for the same. We ended up donating it.

You've got us all curious about what you want to buy for $20,000. And what that something is that the kids will enjoy for a decade! Other than house and college, nothing comes close for us.

Does bail count? What about the ensuing legal fees?

Fancy stroller if it has to be an individual item.

Really the 2M house in the fancy school district with a yard.

You definitely can spend $20k on a horse, but you don't have to and typically wouldn't for the kind of horse that multiple kids could ride for a decade. Same for a piano. I'm dying to know what this is. Boat?

A Steinway M would be more than that. And 100% worth it in my book!

$5K for a slightly less than two week summer camp that DC was meh on and DH was hyped about. Probably more like $6K when you count supplies and hotels for drop off and pick up. I regret it but recognize there were a few positives, just nowhere near $5K of positives.
