Incredibles is the best Pixar film

Here's how I would rank my top 5:

1. Monsters Inc.
2. Finding Nemo (as a parent of a kid with a mild disability, this one hits hard)
3. Inside Out
4. Toy Story 3
5. Toy Story

I would argue that any Pixar film is worth watching though. Not a real clinker in the bunch, although I almost never like the sequels as much as the original.

Like that it features an intact family!

I will always have a soft spot for Cars. And Cars 3 is surprisingly touching with a lot of good themes about mentorship and promoting minority women (albeit in Car form!) and feeling worthy. You’ll be pleasantly surprised.

I loved that movie. Haven't watched it in ages. Ratatouille was another favorite.

Those are my top three too! I would put Incredibles and Ratatouille at 4 and 5

The thing about pixar movies is that the ones you love are the ones that speak to whatever your life's pain and joy are. I love Up but have never had the emotional pull to it others have strangely.

For me my tops are

1) WALL-E
2) Finding Nemo
3) Incredibles
4) Monsters Inc

I do think Cars is fine it just doesn't have the emotional resonance that the best of Pixar has for me. Honorable mention to The Good Dinosaur, doesn't usually make many lists, but pulls at my heartstrings!

Another honorable mention to Inside Out...that one gets me too!

I have an 11 year old daughter and we watched Inside Out again a few months ago. I was a blubbering mess by the end of it.

But yes, Incredibles lives up to its name. Love it so much.

My 20 year old son insists that Cars 2 is the overlooked winner.

Ratatouille gives me the willies.

No Dead Mom for the win

Everything about it is pitch perfect. So quotable!

“No Capes!”

I don't understand threads declaring personal opinions as absolute fact. It is just your opinion which I believe we all have. Incredibles are good but, not THE BEST PIXAR" but, even that is just my 2 cents.

I will not watch inside out again. It was so good, but I was sobbing at the end.

No one has mentioned my number 1 favorite, Brave.

I love love love that movie.

Finding Nemo features the most deaths of any Disney movie.
