Montana considers new wave of legislation to loosen vaccination rules

There didn't seem to be any real gain in health outcomes going from the 13 or so doses GenX got to the 53 or so that kids get today. Rolling it back to what most people posting here got makes a ton of sense.

We learned a lot in the past 3 years about vaccines and IMO a lot of them might not be needed.

Do you agree that parents should have the final say on what vaccines are needed?
Since covid routines vaccines have been dropping and we will disagree if this a good or bad ideaZz

I'm not counting 53, perhaps I missed more than a few

Can we set up dedicated anti-vaxxer states so they can leave the rest of us in peace?

If conservatives and anti science people want to die or want their kids to die or deal with problems, I say let them.
Fewer conservative voters in the long run.

Unfortunately they will probably take out innocent people with measles and such.

Not to mention the wear and tear on the health system.

There's an increase in shingles. Eventually the increase will begin to go down and we'll get to decreasing shingles. At some point. Hopefully.

Polio is just a stomach bug, after all. What paralyzes people is more like Long Polio, and is much less likely.

It is 12 shots/25 antigens in 1986 compared to 54 shots/70 antigens in 2019.

I have yet to see any evidence that the 2019 schedule produces better outcomes than the 1986 schedule, or even the schedule the boomers had.

Sure, go back to the days when measles ran rampant. Just in my family, my great-grandmother lost her hearing from a bout of the measles, and my father's first cousin suffered brain damage when he got the measles as a nine year old and wasn't able to live a functional life.
