Evoo is supposed to solidify in the fridge, it’s perfectly normal.
I buy very high quality evoo from an orchard in California and when the bottles arrive I put them all in the fridge where they live until I’m ready to open and use them. It’s not a great idea to keep evoo at room temperature depending on how warm you keep your home - even in a dark bottle evoo at room temperature begins to lose quality fairly rapidly in terms of the polyphenols which are the primary reason to consume the stuff if you are concerns with food as medicine. |
Right?? |
Chill out, know-it-alls. You aren't impressing anyone with your amazing EVOO expertise.

1. It's called olive oil, not EVOO. EVOO is the stupidest most pretentious thing to say ever. No one will take you seriously if you say EVOO instead of olive oil. It makes you sound dumb.
2. Did you know that oil can solidify in colder temperatures? Even olive oil. The fact that you don't know this also makes you sound dumb. |
Yeah. OP must be new to cooking and preparing own food. But that’s ok. Glad you are doing it! |
