EXACTLY And why hasn’t the minimum wage been made higher? And why is abortion illegal in so many states? |
| Left of Pelosi for sure, probably left of Bernie Sanders. |
Bc in our government, the executive doesnt have complete power. They can work to get legislation passed, but that requires others to vote. Executive orders are fairly limited in scope. You might want to get a basic civics book and brush up so this stuff will make more sense to you. |
Prove it |
| Moderate. Clearly. Has been his whole career. |
Exactly. And anyone trying to claim he is some far-left radical is an unserious person full of hyperbole, while lacking in perspective. |
| Moderate. Biden is just slightly left of old school republicans. He's being pushed to be more leftist because that's what most of us want. The GOP think he's Fidel Castro or something. |
HAHAHAHAHA. |
|
Personally i'd say Biden is left of centre - which is where i expected him to be.
He deserves points for passing bills that encompassed more of the liberal factions of the party - but i wouldn't characterize him as a leftist president. And aspects of his foreign policy are what GWB would have come up with. |
In foreign affairs he's being a far-right neocon like W. |
|
His administration has heavily embraced DEI both in executive orders and creating new DEI bureaucracy and in federal and judicial appointees. Many are definitely not qualified for their appointments. I'm not sure I would call this a moderate or even slightly center left. This is very left wing. As is the administration's stance on transexual rights. And attempting to cancel student loans despite openly acknowledging it didn't have the constitutional rights to do so. And the scale of funding under the infrastructure acts. No attempt at balancing books. A moderate was Bill Clinton and even Obama was more moderate in his presidency than Biden.

What’s a transsexual? |
If he was a “leftist” as you say, we’d have the things his base wants by now. They’re nowhere to be found thus far! |
His base? You mean the far left base? Because, there are still enough Democrats in Congress who can't fathom the far left policies he would try to push through. |
