Interesting argument. You make a group of people's lives so miserable that they commit suicide in large numbers and then you justify making them even more miserable because they commit suicide in large numbers. This Republican science!

Or maybe it's a mental issue and having a large number of people's lives dependent on that is bad judgement. They might also be the source of their own misery.

Yet you blame someone else. If a transgender has regrets after their operations and they often do, why is that someone else's fault?

Why should they be in a position of high trust?

What if one of your sons was on the spectrum and also had a life-threatening physical disease and announces out of the blue that he is transgender and that taking medication to aid in transition was going to make that disease worse, and very possibly kill him in young adulthood? You have never seen any signs of gender confusion, even in early childhood. Do you not even ask questions?

You have come up with a huge number of hypotheticals in order to justify discrimination.

I am not sure what I would do but I certainly would not want Republican governors interfering in his medical care or Republican Senators prohibiting him from taking certain jobs.

What do regrets have to do with this situation? Do you have evidence that those who have transitioned have regrets in large numbers? All available studies suggest just the opposite. Maybe you should not get a job on which people's live depends because you seem to have your own bad judgement?

There is no rational basis for being afraid of transgender pilots. Cruz says the things he does to appeal to people like you. As I said, he is not being irrational because clearly people like you exist.

Actually, this is the EXACT situation with my own kid, and the pressure on his psychiatrist and other MDs are immense to support gender transition at all costs, or they risk losing their license. Just like what happened with Covid (and to a degree, still happening). Ask questions, try to save a life using drugs off-label (which is VERY common in medicine btw) and you are done for. That, my friend, is political pressure and it’s NOT the republican doing it.
