I think that’s sarcasm

It’s cringy to read condescending comments coming from people lucky enough to get into schools they consider superior.

PSA: I don’t think Basis are good and nurturing schools.

+1. Sad to see parents of actual kids are stooping down to that level. You’re not a high schooler anymore (assuming here). Call OP out if they are trolling and the school’s shortcomings and call it a day.

Contact admissions asap and ask them. Don't count on DCUMs (no offense) ask the school directly asap.

Their interest list? Why not dispense with the formalities and link to their credit card processing site?

Despite all the bad reviews and scary comments on this board on Basis, my 9th grader new student really likes this school and is thriving. I kept asking DC whether to continue with Basis and the answer is always positive. DC likes his new friends/classmates and teachers. Workload is rigorous but managable and still have time for outside time-consuming activities. Younger sibling in public right now also wants to change to Basis after visiting it for an open event. I am a bit dumbfounded regarding how the perceived reality being so different from the opinions here.

No need to be dumbfounded. Basis trolls and sock puppeting. More than once. No one believes any of the threads or positive posts are real or in good faith.

Another parent of a happy student here, but in a lower grade. The Basis marketing troll posts aren’t any worse than the toxicity of parents trying to beat down a relative newcomer that is doing well, and keep climbing both in rankings and enrollment the past 2 years. Let’s see how things look for the 2023 - 2024 year. Hope the haters enjoy being such such tough keyboard warriors and clever bullies.

Geise was an interim HOS after at least 5 others before him. He left six months before his temporary contract was up. Don't kid yourself that there is any management continuity or even much faculty continuity at BASIS. It's a churning machine.

Oh, but they are worse. People aren’t allowed to do that. Also, it ruins it for any valid Basis poster because now the school has a rep for fake posters. That’s not honest. Calling posters out for their BS is allowed. You may find it toxic, but it’s honest.

Hi - I'm the original poster and I just wanted to say thank you for the comments, particularly from the families having positive experiences. I appreciate your engagement.
