These aren't issues of neighborhoods. These are social and economic issues. And no, there's nowhere "safe". When we've bred conditions where people feel crime is their best option, this is what happens.

So sure, you can vote with your feet and leave for somewhere where the crime is more white collar. But there will still be crime.

Get them off the street and into prisons for as long as possible, puts away the bad actors and deters them to other more crime welcoming areas
