| It seems that McLean and Arlington are going down the tubes with all the homeless reports, drugs in schools, fights etc where is an alternative that is akin to the 90s McLean and North Arlington? |
| Riff Raff? You know drugs are very common in the "nice white" neighborhoods? |

Riff Raff? Move to, I dunno, Iowa, though there is a lot of meth there, so you won't be spared. |

Clearly you didn't grow up in McLean in the 80s and 90s, if you don't remember the numerous fatal crashes from alcohol involving high school kids. Or the various homeless characters. And the smoking fights under the bleachers or in the bathrooms. Or putting firecrackers in people's mailboxes.
The "riff raff" now is actually LESS, although behind closed doors with prescription drug abuse, wino moms and dads on uppers--and this is the benign stuff. |
| I’ll still take the Virginia suburbs any day over DC and suburban Maryland, where the problems identified by the OP are significantly worse in both scale and community impact. |
AKA less blacks and Hispanics? Honey, you realize white people fight, abuse meth and opioids, are homeless too? Move out to the rural parts of VA and you'll find out. Lol they have all that in the suburbs too now. But you knew that..

| Folks, don't feed the troll. They know that people get spun up about defending their enclave. |

Depends on how you define riff raff. According to my definition, McLean and N. Arlington are already packed full of them.

| I thought Loudoun was a good option and even put a deposit down on a house there. But then I found out that they were going to build $1.5 million mansions a mile away from my $2 million mansion so I said no thank you and walked. Still looking. Let me know if you find something. |
| Gibson Island. |
| I can assure you they’ll be worse if you move there, with an increase in riff raff. |
| Leesburg |
| Isn't Pimmit Hills the answer to every question? |
Chain link fences make the best neighbors! |
| Drugs are everywhere. You have to teach your child to avoid it. |
