Why would the school still be in lockdown, then? They are keeping another nearby school in shelter-in-place.

Because real life is not like the movies. It takes time and protocols must be followed. Per the scanner, some students were being questioned (NOT as suspects) about texts they had received.

Per scanner, kids are still sheltering in place for now. Building is secure. I think they basically are just doing the active investigation now and focusing on that vs. dismissal. Kids can go to bathroom escorted with teacher, etc.
