Masking at GW?

Personally if you’re that high risk for Covid, I’d consider doing whatever it is you did pre-pandemic. What would you have done in 2019 at SGF?

If you’re that high risk for Covid that you need to mask 24-7 then I’d reconsider having children. It’s not fair to have kids and never be able to attend public events, go anywhere not in a mask. Kids can’t even mask until age 2 anyway. Are you not going to send them to school?

Stop being obnoxious.

(spoken by someone who cannot return their children to school because of people like you)

You post this claim about your kids a lot. I’m starting to think you’re just trolling.

Confirming that GW requires masking. Some patients may be wearing cloth masks but I think it’ll be the best environment you find with these circumstances.

If ever your RE is dropping the mask (as REs are generally the most cautious of the cautious), then try to consider whether everyone else is wrong or perhaps you are.

If you have health issues and at risk, it's not anxiety. Be grateful for your health and stop being obnoxious.

If you were truly at-risk, you would know that the burden has been and always will be on you to protect yourself. Those families have always taken precautions, including correctly fitted N95s in healthcare settings, to keep safe. My uncle had a kidney transplant in the years ago and that’s how his family lived before COVID, and still live today. It is delusional to think that the entire world will keep living like at-risk people indefinitely. Which is why it’s a clear red flag that many people claiming at-risk are really just using that as an excuse to support a never ending public health emergency. If doctors office mandate that permits cloth masks makes you feel better, then yes, it’s about your mental health and not actual risk reduction.

When I look back on the before times, it’s crazy to me that we didn’t systematically mask at doctor’s office, and that people didn’t mask in busy public spaces (like public transit, grocery stores etc) p, particularly during the height of the flu season or when allergens were high or whenever we wanted to prevent illness. That we didn’t isn’t an indication that we we were right… I fully intend to continue doing so forever. I don’t care what people think of me.

That you believe this shows the extent of misinformation/disinformation you have absorbed as fact.

If you're high risk, get vaxed and wear a mask. You're probably doing both already.

You can't expect everyone else to mask up just because of you.
