Well, this was Edwin Edwards (RIP) governor a few times of the great state of Louisiana. The quote, however, is about a "live boy" which reads, in Southern, as a Black man...not a person under 18. A full-grown Black man.

That Gaetz is having an extramarital affair with his press secretary who is a man.

Republicans are not held to any standards so why would something like this matter?

I agree that affair with male staffer is a step up from enderCe sex trafficking

I have a college friend who was actually friends with this guy (he and his wife live in MG’s district and we’re both heavily involved in conservative circles for a while) but that was before any of this dirt came out. I am imagining that the friendship is at least strained if not over by this point.
