Really? Just looks like good skincare and good eating habits to me. |
So out of good will, I looked up this new show Gellar is producing and acting in. At first I was like "yay she's doing fantasy/sci fi TV again!" because it's about werewolves and she's a detective.
But then I find out that the show's going to stream exclusively on Paramount+ and I'm just so frustrated. I am not going to sign up for yet another streaming service, no matter how much good will I have towards Hollywood's nicest and longest-lasting couple. I'm sorry but I pay for Netflix, Hulu, HBO Max, and Amazon Prime. I don't even get to watch as much stuff as I should be watching each month. I'm not also paying for Paramount+ on top of all that. Not made of money here. |
Sorry to be a hater but this thread prompted me to look up her Instagram since I hadn’t heard her name in years… sorry but she looks/sounds/comes off so boring and vapid. Good for them making a marriage work in Hollywood— and nice for their kids. But her new show looks bad and she seems shallow and silly to me. I don’t even have the energy to look him up. |
I think you may have a point. I have nothing against Gellar and Prinze, I just don't see the appeal beyond basic good behavior. (We're congratulating a couple for achieving basic decency now?) They seem totally inoffensive, but they also don't seem very interesting. Coming from their position of privilege, they probably could've done a lot more with their lives than just coast on their successes and diplomatically stay out of drama. *shrug* I saw the trailer for Wolf Pack+ and it seems silly. There are other fantasy TV shows out there right now, like House of the Dragon, which are better IMO. |
You get a free trial with one cc and then do it with another one. |
I feel similarly about Alyson Hannigan and Alexis Denisof. |
Omg same! I didn’t even know I cared until my chest tightened at the title. So relieved they’re still going strong! |
Ditto!! |
Np I don't get this sentiment at all. What does a Hollywood marriage making it or failing have anything to do with you? Divorce can be the best thing if it isn't working. Why should we care at all? |
You know she’s a voracious smoker, right? |
I had no idea. Dang, guess SMG didn't do the "age gracefully" thing after all. Bummer. |
Obviously we "shouldn't" - and yet it is extremely common to have parasocial relationships with celebrities. Esp ones who you admired, or related to, or whatever - you get personally invested in their lives, and it feels somehow like an extension of your own life. Why was everyone so angry at Angelina and Brad when they got together, other than because they felt invested in Jen and Brad working out? Why does anyone care about anything happening outside of your own home, for that matter? |
Was he a teen heartthrob? I thought he was nobody, sort of like Jessica Alba's husband. Celeb marriages only seem to work out when one of them isn't famous. |
They met while filming I Know What You Did Last Summer. He was definitely a teen heartthrob. She's All That comes to mind. Then he was in the Scooby Doo movies. He also had a famous parent who was a casualty of Hollywood/the industry, so that might help him keep his head on straight. It seems like his mom and her family did a great job with him. |
I remember her name from Buffy but have never heard of him. 47F. |
