I wonder if this can sort of play itself out. Will he realize Tate isn’t the god he purports to be when his business fails and his future is more uncertain than ever?

There are a ton of moms in your situation, OP. And worse, many moms are dealing with kids who are into white nationalist online forums. You can Google it and read about it. The big one seems to be that these kids are missing something in their lives and these cult leaders are filling thar void. You are right that just lecturing him on it will turn him off. But I also don’t think you should remain silent, especially as a woman.

3. I am trying but as I said in my OP: "He needs redirecting but I am concerned voicing my real concerns about this will push him further into it." My first few tries at explaining Tate to him when this first started only made him defensive and less likely to listen to me.
