Harry and Meghan on Netflix episodes for five and six positivity and friendly comments only please

Thanks for trying again OP. I liked the last three episodes and I 100% believe Harry and his understanding of the palace press machine. This is an organization that has held on for centuries, of course they are going to do all they can to protect William and his reputation, even if at the expense of the “spare.” The press clips that the filmmaker wove in really did a nice job of telling the story. I get that the sussexes aren’t for everyone but I find it hard to dispute that they were hung out to dry so the palace could keep William and Kate on a pedestal. Where it broke was that H&M weren’t going to tolerate it.

We couldn’t talk about them , so now they are making money of their titles from a monarchy the hate and that’s okay? One side of the story for money.

The "proof" is that literally thousands of headlines have been written and are continued to be written about Meghan. You can go straight to the r/SaintMeghanMarkle sub on Reddit and see for yourself the hundreds of posts that get shared and re-shared every single day, with thousands of commentators spending hours each day regaling each other in their hatred of her. That's the proof. No one, except for truly evil people of historic proportions, deserves that level of persistent and daily hatred and scrutiny in such a public sphere.

That "proof", regardless of the onus, is more than enough for someone to want to speak out.

Documentary was well done. This was appropriate, true, and needed to be aired. Basically people are watching how the BRF changes, and will have to change, and why-but in real time, not later, as in Diana's case. No one here understands British press, ths tabloids there, and how they relate to the Royal family because we function differently. I wish them luck. They did the right thing

A bit boring. A few interesting tidbits here and there. Too much explaining of events that were not that compelling to me to begin with (I'm not a Megan hater). For instance, the baby shower? Why bother with justifications? The haters will simply pick them apart and those like me are bored to have to listen to long-winded "We did it this way because..."

On the other hand, some clarity needed on issues like her relationship with here niece, why the long exit from her life without so much as an email.

So, all in all, I felt it was fine for what it was. A sort of travelogue with self-commentary and beautiful photos. Nice to see them thriving.

I feel sad for Harry to have ended up in this position.

+1 even if I think they’re quite spoiled and pampered, I also absolutely believe this to be true. And I think she is too sensitive for experiencing so many big life changes in the public eye.

Wasn’t their home in the interview clips.

The monarchy is basically a family business that you have to join. Hard way to live. Harry was 12 when his mother died and that has impacted and changed his outlook on life. Harry is immature, but the monarchy doesn’t allow for an independent life. I am not an expert on this family, but where in the heck was Charles when these boys were growing up? He allowed them to party, both in their home and out at the bars without much guidance. Even in this series, Harry lays fault with “the firm”, but not with his father.

It's so 1-sided of Harry to say that Will yelled at him and poor Harry was terrified.

Really?? Give me a break.

And don't tell me you didn't shout back at him?...but you left that part out, right?

I understand their side of things but why do they have to keep telling us over and over in every format. Just go live your normal lives in private like you claim you want to. I assume Harry will be completely estranged after this so no need to talk about the BRF anymore.

I do think it’s the one sidedness that bothers most. And the fact that if Charles had kept them on the dole, we wouldn’t have heard a peep. This is primarily about money and ego. They could have gone to ground, living quietly on Harry’s trust fund, and been safe. It’s crazy they are making themselves targets when they didn’t have to. The desire to be Uber rich celebrities has a price. An enormous one, in my view.

Harry's book comes out soon. I wonder what else he has to say?

I don’t doubt how they were treated or that the family protected William and Kate at the expense of Harry and Meghan. I can’t imagine being part of a “family” like that. It’s actually sickening the degree to which so many people put the senior members of the royal family on a pedestal and refuse to acknowledge how self-serving and cut-throat they are. I also understand H &M’s need to tell their side of things—when you feel you’ve been wronged, it’s natural to want to tell your side. I don’t fault them for that. But it’s hard to know what they want from this. Surely they must realize that a lot of people will view anything they say or do in the most negative light, so hopefully they weren’t expecting to change minds.

Charles’ allowance wouldn’t have afforded them their mansion and current lifestyle. They’re smart to make their own money but the constant whining is weird.

No, they only reconnected with her after they dumped the BRF.
