Ours is too young for rabies, but she’ll wear the tag when she gets it.
She has an ID tag with her name on one side and our first names and cell numbers on the other side. Then she has a tag from AKC saying she’s microchipped. |
Do it ASAP! It’s so important if he ever got out. |
Thanks everyone. Just curious what others do. |
I tried registering our dog in DC, filled out the form, sent in the check - nothing. |
No. Our dogs are microchipped, registered with the county and have tags with our phone numbers. The county registration has the rabies vaccination info in it. |
Forgot to say that FFX Co police officers can access the dog registration database from their cars. They can look to see what kinds of dogs are registered in an area. We found a lot dog with no tag or collar or microchip. A police officer was able to look up registrations in our area and was able to identify the owner. |
+1. It's been almost a year. |
Nope. Just a name tag with our phone numbers. He's microchipped and we have his vaccine records on our phones. |
You can do it through the American Kennel Club. |
Yes, together with her county registration tags. There's a little neoprene pouch that attaches to her collar that holds all the metal securely so it doesn't jingle when she shakes her head or scratches her neck. She's chipped as well. |
haha - same! I have a collar with a tag that has her name and our phone number. |
No |
How would that help? |
No. Just one tag with his name and both our cell phone numbers. He is chipped too. |
yes. we have a flat id tag that hooks onto her collar with her name, our address and phone number. she wears her rabies tag from the vet, which also has the vet's name. she's also chipped. she's not registered - we live in DC. |
