Brinton has been on leave from DOE for at least a month, the agency has acknowledged. Sam seems qualified for the job they had.. dual graduate degrees from MIT in Nuclear Engineering, Technology and Policy and an undergrad BS in Mechanical Engineering with Nuclear Engineering Option and relevant work experience etc etc.

The fact that they are (were) the one of the nation's first “openly genderfluid individuals in federal government leadership” I guess was newsworthy at the time, but isn't really relevant now.

I'm sorry they had poor morals and apparently stole someone's luggage. That sounds like shoplifting to me -- stealing for the excitement? They need to resign.

So I just want to be clear that the current GOP position is that stealing is wrong and against the law, right? Just want to make the clear because back in August I was hearing the opposite.
