| Wow your poor child. |
| Not unless the kids make it in my own house + I have seen them wash their hands |
| Sure I'd eat it. Can't be any worse than stuff old people make. I say that and I'm old! |
Not a chance. I've been a teacher and observed the process.
|
+1 (and know where those hands have been) |
| Yes. And I NEVER get sick. Never had covid. Haven't had a cold in years. |
| I do not for same reason you cited OP but I bet your dd’s class loved the idea of their teacher having parents - gasp, she isn’t just their teacher! 😂😂 |
| Nooooo |
| My kids: yes. My students: usually no. I had a student who was a semi-finalist on a kids’ cooking show. I ate what he gifted every time. Other homemade treats I usually praised on their yummy appearance and then tossed them once I got home. |
Listen to the teacher! Unless you like boogers. |
| Sometimes I don't even eat what my own children made. DD took a cooking class where she made a chicken dish. Teacher handed me a container at the end of class and said, "we were short on time, so the chicken might be raw." My dd kept BEGGING me to try it, but I just....couldn't. Even after heating. |
| Of course. What is wrong with some of you people? Germaphobic or just snooty? |
+1. For those who don't eat anything made by children, do you eat anything that hasn't been store bought or made by you? I've seen some pretty nasty kitchens where presumably adults are cooking. |
| One thing I learn from DCUM is how many people out there live with totally irrational fears all the time. |
^^^ So many need deep therapy |
