Because there is no code of ethics for SCOTUS.

Roberts should have asked his to Recuse.

Roberts is a true believing POS.

Roberts is a total POS and has overseen the downfall of the court.

Oh for sure. He behaves more or less normally, but he’s up there with Donald Trump as one of the worst, most damaging Americans ever to have lived.

This is all just part of the game to push everything off until after midterms because Rs think they can take control of Congress, and many of the local elections.

It’s an administrative stay. Absolutely routine. The full court can now vote on the stay based on briefing.

I live in Don Beyer's district. I will vote for him, but my vote essentially doesn't count.

It's not like I live in the Va-2.

And there’s no reason for SCOTUS to weigh in on a unanimous appellate decision. It’s not like another appellate court went a different way on the same issue.

Not how it works. This has nothing to do with the merits of the district court ruling compelling Graham to testify, which the 11th Circuit declined to stay.

Not really: https://www.cnn.com/2022/11/01/politics/lindsey-graham-supreme-court/index.html

The Supreme Court declined on Tuesday to block a subpoena for Republican Sen. Lindsey Graham to testify in front of an Atlanta grand jury investigating efforts to overturn the 2020 presidential election in Georgia.
