Anyone else sort of love the gigantic Jeep Grand Wagoneer?

It's also assembled in Michigan, so it has that Made in the USA thing going for it. It's not like a $100k rig depreciates to $0 in 2 years. After 2 years it's worth $75k? $1k a month is hardly meaningful if you make $300k+ a year, plus passive income, and maybe you inherited a couple million bucks from your folks.

You need to be rich just to afford the gas at only 13-18 mpg. $100 to $150+ every fill-up.

Despite the fact that she has a $10K-valued handsfree infotainment and McIntosh high-end speaker system that would be much clearer to hear and easier/safer to use.

I think anyone buying a really expensive American made Jeep instead of a tacky euro trash luxury nameplate is actually far less likely to do this.

I was thinking “Nouveau and ostentatious, not elegant like OP thinks, but who cares it’s her money” until I saw this. 13-18mpg is a travesty.

This car is hideous and if you are driving it you are a striver. Sorry.

Time to put the environment first.

Well no more flying off to vacations for you, then! Because the people plane you’re in burns more fuel getting you to your destination and back a few times a year than that Wagoneer will use in a typical year of use.

Needs wood paneling on the rockers.

He hates everything but Toyotas.

Loved those old wood-sided wagons.

I love it. It looks like the jeep had a baby with a suburban. Jeeps are utter garbage though. DH has had a few and they’re all money pits.

Old money! Love it.

There’s something about the shape of the windows and/or the trim that I just hate.

It's ugly, and cars like that are incredibly unsafe for pedestrians, especially children. That car tells me that you don't give a crap about anyone other than yourself.

Also, "decadence" isn't really a good thing.
