I go the gym at 5am 3 mornings a week. You quickly get to know other folks.

How does this work? Do you just go to whatever classes you want?

Yep! There are 3 different type of workouts (Momentum, Anaerobic, Durability). Each week has a theme, but you try to go to one of each per week. Its the best strength training class I have been to, meaning it goes by fast and I see results!

What location do you go to? How much is it? How many people per class? Assuming you have to sign up as they don't want too many people. I don't see any in MD.

Go at the same time every day. You’ll start to recognize people. Say Hi. Talk about class for a few minutes. After a few days/weeks, get coffee after class. Keep going at the same time every day.

+1. I'm the PP who suggested barre, pilates, and yoga. I go to the same 8:45 class Tue-Friday. I see the same people every time, it's like social hour before class starts and we get together outside of class for lunch etc.

How do you fit this in with work?
+1 and kids

Kids are at school - not everyone has 9-5 butts in seat in an office.

Agree. I go to a flow yoga class 8-9:15pm 3 times a week. Then I go to work: night auditor at a hotel. 10pm-7am., Wed.- Sat. I love working all night as I am a natural night owl. Arrive home in time to get the kids to school (DH has already gotten them up and dressed and breakfast-ed.) Run errands, etc. Sleep longer on my days off; only about 6 hours on work days. Babysitter (neighbor or her teen kids) pick up kids on work days so I can get more sleep.
