I have never made a friend through an exercise class. Teach me your secrets!

Go at the same time every day. You’ll start to recognize people. Say Hi. Talk about class for a few minutes. After a few days/weeks, get coffee after class. Keep going at the same time every day.

Not a workout class per se but take up tennis and get on a 2.5 doubles team. Instant friendships.

It really depends on what kind of friends you are looking for. Vastly different types of people attend barre class vs CrossFit

+1. I'm the PP who suggested barre, pilates, and yoga. I go to the same 8:45 class Tue-Friday. I see the same people every time, it's like social hour before class starts and we get together outside of class for lunch etc.
