Please review my BBQ menu

Also, unless you know that someone only eats chicken, it’s easier to grill burgers than chicken. Burgers are more forgiving, and cook significantly faster than chicken.

You probably have this covered, but don’t forget condiments for the hotdogs - mustard, ketchup, maybe pickle relish

I would love to pare down on a side or two but I’m not really sure where to make that cut so I can easily keep the menu as is. Would love any input on any substitutions or changes you might make. Very lucky that except for the one person who has a sensitivity to gluten, there are no other dietary restrictions to work around. Crazy to find that with such a large group! Thanks in advance.

There are 20 adults at the cookout (and that's what this is, not a BBQ). You are suggesting that adults can't have a beer, wine or other drink because there also are kids at the party? That's pretty ridiculous.

I am very picky and would be perfectly happy with this. I would hope the salad dressing was on the side so I could eat the salad, but if it's mixed in, I'd just skip it.

Picky adult: you could *try* the salad if the dressing is mixed in. How do you know you automatically wouldn’t like it without even tasting it? You dislike all salad dressing? You would either like it or you wouldn’t but you certainly can’t find out if you don’t taste it.

Thanks from the OP for so many great responses. I’m going to nix the Annie’s and French fries and add coleslaw and potato chips based on suggestions. And definitely keeping the booze

That sounds great. Why not cut some veges and nix the broccoli + baked beans. Corn would be great

GF brownies are gross. Get good brownies and have some fruit or ice cream.

Can find a better vegetable maybe corn on cob, something kids will eat.

If you use clean the grill, use Sweet Baby Ray's sauce and don't put the buns on the grill, the BBQ chicken will be GF too. That might be easier than trying to keep things separate. Its very sweet of you to consider the GF person. Most GF people would happily eat a burger or hot dog without a bun.

I'd skip the extra mac n cheese, brocolli and French fries. Sides could be Cole slaw, potato salad, 3 bean salad, broccoli salad, Caesar salad no croutons, tortilla chips n salsa - these are all GF.
