So what happened to that "CRT" Youngkin and his voters were talking about

Can you explain what CRT is? Be specific.

“Critical race theory (CRT) is a cross-disciplinary examination, by social and civil-rights scholars and activists, to explore how laws, social and political movements, and media shape, and are shaped by, social conceptions of race and ethnicity. Goals include challenging all mainstream and "alternative" views of racism and racial justice, including conservative, liberal and progressive. The word critical in the name is an academic reference to critical thinking, critical theory, and scholarly criticism, rather than criticizing or blaming people.

“ CRT is also used in sociology to explain social, political, and legal structures and power distribution as through a “lens” focusing on the concept of race, and experiences of racism. For example, the CRT conceptual framework examines racial bias in laws and legal institutions, such as highly disparate rates of incarceration among racial groups in the United States.”

Of course not. In some cases school systems are doubling down on their commitment to “equity,” which is effectively CRT is practice.

This battle over the future of our schools and nation will play out for years to come - namely, is the goal to provide equal opportunity or to radically redistribute private wealth and societal resources to certain groups (principally ADOS) with the illusory goal of promoting equal outcomes.

CRT isn't "equity," and the fact that you equate them means that you've fallen for the propaganda (which was INTENDED to make you conflate all the conservative bugbears with "CRT.") And it worked, and they won the election, and now, like the migrant caravans and Ebola and whatever other bogeyman always appears before the election and vanishes afterwards, it's gone, except for the book banning.

Exactly.

I can't find the threads about it but Youngkin did some stuff, made some new rules about this issue.

I assume, since you missed it, that you don't have school-age kids.

“I can’t find it”, but something magically happened somewhere. LOL.

Suckers. Racist suckers.

It wasn’t a big deal.

Blending AGA isn’t a big bad scary thing, no matter what the GOP wants you to believe.

Yup. Then it’s off to the next thing. And the next. They’ll even recycle these “issues” because their base has a short memory.

CRT is absolutely a thing and yes, it's still talked about. Where have you been?

Where? What teachers? How are they being "indoctrinated" with CRT? Be specific.

Since CRT was "outed" they change the name of it, or don't name it at all but sprinkle the ideologies CRT encompasses throughout the various subjects taught. They usually couch it in words and terms that make it difficult for those people who know the truth to sound the alarm. Sorry people but look beyond the bubble from which you get your information and think for yourselves. CRT racist and divisive ideas are definitely being pushed on our children.

If you think teaching history from a black perspective is an issue, then you are the problem.
