My grandparents used this method. They had 12 kids. |
My Mirena has kept me from having periods, which has kept my endometriosis under control for YEARS. |
And souls that will be crushed by the experience of not only being raped, but then having to give birth and deal with the aftermath of all it entails. |
Who is forcing abortion? |
You just don't know what you are talking about Abortion ban is a danger to all women. Ectopic pregnancy could result in treatment being delayed untill she is really in danger. Miscarriage could end up with treatment being delayed I foresee women being accused of being on a wrong diet that contributed to the miscarriage Women across the country do not all have access to reliable contraceptives. We have hospitals that refuse to sterilize women I believe pro life focus is on punishing women for their sexuality, nothing more. What will the punishment be for an abortion? Will the man who got her pregnant also be punished? |
Let's get back to the OPs point. Let's hear from some pro lifers. What is their stance on contraception, knowing that the way it may work is to induce abortion of a 1-2 week old fertilized egg.
Oral contraception and sometimes IUDs: medical intervention that removes a potential baby AFTER conception Abortion procedure: medical intervention that removes a potential baby AFTER conception Being ok with one and not the other IS hypocritical. It just means you are drawing your own line and imposing where that line should be drawn on the entire population of other females in the US - restricting the rights and freedom of other women based on your individual belief. |
No pro lifers commenting because they know they're using oral contraception while spouting on about life beginning at conception. Hypocrites! |
My parents used this and actually ran workshops to teach it. It takes restraint and very strict adherence to daily temperature checks. They had one unplanned pregnancy due to a night of wine and impulsivity. Suffice it to say, while the method works, most people do not have the discipline to actually carry it out. I have an IUD and am considered pro life by the current definition. By my personal definition, I believe in choice for any reason up to 16 weeks so I am not concerned about the IUD and experience no disharmony in my beliefs. |
Heck, I know several "pro lifers" who have had abortions. They don't think their views apply to their own situations. Whoopsie. |
Personally, I like to pull out and shoot my load all over her backside or her chest. ![]() |
27 percent failure rate for that method. How do you like financially supporting lots and lots of babies? Lifetime cost of raising a kid is up to $272k. That's "load" of money! |
Most "pro life" women do use birth control of some sort, and many also get abortions. If you look at the stats, Catholic women get abortions much more frequently like Protestant or atheist women..
And if you look at some of the posts here obviously from men, you know why they sneak out and get abortions and birth control. But, probably no more. Once the guys have a few kids or get judgements on them for child support, supported by DNA testing, they might change their tune. They aren't too bright, so it will probably take a decade or so. |
My anti-choice sister used BCP's for years and also IVF to conceive all of her children. |
They are really this dumb, aren't they. Well, at least other anti choice women in red states won't have the option of IVF much longer. |
Forced-birthers should get their tubes tied and adopt all the kids that they are forcing to be born. |
