Do pro lifers use oral contraception or IUDs?

Of note, a fertilized egg takes a week to 18 days before it implants, during which it is doing it's thing growing and dividing. If it can't implant due to taking oral contraception or the presence of an IUD, that clump of cells is aborted from the body due to, essentially, medical intervention.

So are you coming for the birth control next?

Yes, they were coming for it all along. The only acceptable form of contraception to them is papal roulette, also known as “natural family planning”. It’s very effective for women who are regular like clockwork, and couples who are fine avoiding sex for 14 days per 28 day cycle. Also known as NO ONE, which let’s face it is the point.

My grandparents used this method. They had 12 kids.

Seems worse than just having one RU 486 or one vaccuum abortion. Tens, hundreds, thousands of abortions with an IUD? 1 would be better. Or none.

My Mirena has kept me from having periods, which has kept my endometriosis under control for YEARS.

Sheer ignorance.

Most forced killers don’t understand how abortion actually works either. They refuse to watch videos showing the procedures or refuse ultrasounds that show beating hearts and perfectly formed little fingers and toes. They instead refer to the human inside them as a clump of cells. Does that not make them hypocritical as well

Some of us can see “little fingers and toes” and not go hysterical and lose our minds. I know this may come as a shock to you, but in many faith traditions we do not believe that fetus has a soul. And even those among us who recognize the *possibility* that is fetal life know that is sustained only at great physical cost to the mother, so the mother always comes first.

As for medical procedures, have you ever seen a placental abruption on a 14 year old? Because you’re about to start seeing a ton of them and it’s your own fault. Those little girls have heartbeats and fingers and toes too.

And souls that will be crushed by the experience of not only being raped, but then having to give birth and deal with the aftermath of all it entails.

Who is forcing abortion?

You just don't know what you are talking about
Abortion ban is a danger to all women. Ectopic pregnancy could result in treatment being delayed untill she is really in danger.
Miscarriage could end up with treatment being delayed
I foresee women being accused of being on a wrong diet that contributed to the miscarriage
Women across the country do not all have access to reliable contraceptives. We have hospitals that refuse to sterilize women

I believe pro life focus is on punishing women for their sexuality, nothing more.

What will the punishment be for an abortion? Will the man who got her pregnant also be punished?

Let's get back to the OPs point. Let's hear from some pro lifers. What is their stance on contraception, knowing that the way it may work is to induce abortion of a 1-2 week old fertilized egg.

Oral contraception and sometimes IUDs: medical intervention that removes a potential baby AFTER conception

Abortion procedure: medical intervention that removes a potential baby AFTER conception

Being ok with one and not the other IS hypocritical. It just means you are drawing your own line and imposing where that line should be drawn on the entire population of other females in the US - restricting the rights and freedom of other women based on your individual belief.

No pro lifers commenting because they know they're using oral contraception while spouting on about life beginning at conception. Hypocrites!

My parents used this and actually ran workshops to teach it. It takes restraint and very strict adherence to daily temperature checks. They had one unplanned pregnancy due to a night of wine and impulsivity. Suffice it to say, while the method works, most people do not have the discipline to actually carry it out.

I have an IUD and am considered pro life by the current definition. By my personal definition, I believe in choice for any reason up to 16 weeks so I am not concerned about the IUD and experience no disharmony in my beliefs.

Heck, I know several "pro lifers" who have had abortions. They don't think their views apply to their own situations. Whoopsie.

In fact, these methods are abortifacient and any pro life woman who uses them is violating her own beliefs.

Discuss.

Personally, I like to pull out and shoot my load all over her backside or her chest.

27 percent failure rate for that method. How do you like financially supporting lots and lots of babies? Lifetime cost of raising a kid is up to $272k. That's "load" of money!

Most "pro life" women do use birth control of some sort, and many also get abortions. If you look at the stats, Catholic women get abortions much more frequently like Protestant or atheist women..

And if you look at some of the posts here obviously from men, you know why they sneak out and get abortions and birth control. But, probably no more.

Once the guys have a few kids or get judgements on them for child support, supported by DNA testing, they might change their tune. They aren't too bright, so it will probably take a decade or so.

My anti-choice sister used BCP's for years and also IVF to conceive all of her children.

They are really this dumb, aren't they.

Well, at least other anti choice women in red states won't have the option of IVF much longer.

Forced-birthers should get their tubes tied and adopt all the kids that they are forcing to be born.
