| Sleep apnea can cause bed wetting. |
| You are not alone. Stopping fluids in the evening helped. |
| Get him checked for constipation. If he has any kind of blockage, it can cause bedwetting. Also cut down on evening fluids, especially milk. |
Does his mattress have a waterproof cover? Incontinence pads over the sheet can help too. |
I do yes. There were times I didnt get it washed and back on his bed for the following night. I have used those puppy pads that someone gave me. More times than not, they ended up crumpled up and only caught a minimal of pee. |
| We use pull ups. Pediatrician said it’s very common and is not concerned. |
We did pull ups for a little while. They didnt really hold up all night. They would be soaked through by morning and he still pees A LOT at night as well as being a deep sleeper. |
Did you try putting on more than one? We do that in the summer months when our kids drink a ton of water. |
No we never tried that. |
Are you waking them when you go to bed to go to the bathroom? |
Yep, sometimes twice a night depending on if he had a lot to drink that night. All it did was disturb his sleep and he would wake up cranky in the morning. |
|
Your not alone, 7 year old son here still wetting every night as well. We put him in a diaper with a booster pad before bed. Pull-ups just didn’t hold enough for him.
Our pediatrician isn’t concerned. |
Our sons pediatrician isnt concerned either. Never tried boosters. Are those the kind you use for cloth diapers? |
No, they are a disposable booster pad for disposable diapers. They just add extra absorption. |
