Moderates- Eleich or Blair

Omg, please go with Blair. Ehlrich is not moderate and is beholden in teachers unions. He has demonstrated his incompetence over and over again. Blair has actual business experience and will likely be a voice of reason. He is a family man with 5 kids and understands the concerns of working parents.

There's nothing moderate about Elrich. He had his Che Guevara poster in the Council Office Building until he was told he needed to take it down.

Blair. No doubt.

I am going with Blair but you know nothing about him to call him a family man and understanding the plight of working parents. Talk to his first wife or cycled through paid household assistants.

OK - then how about Blair vs Reimer?

Blair without question.

Blair. No question. Only 80 votes separated them last time. Every vote really does count.

Blair. I wasn’t a fan of Reimer’s before, but his constant social media attacks have not impressed me. He seems to revel in insulting others, especially his competitors. He’s the only one running such a negative campaign.

I also don’t like his treatment of MCPD. I think it shows how duplicitous he is. He was on the attack against MCPD for years. Now that he’s running for county exec, he has found some new love for them… but only for management. I’m under the impression this is only to show some facade of support for the department during the election cycle while still allowing him to vilify officers.

Op here and I think it needs to drop out otherwise we’re going to end up splitting the vote again. He had no chance and should recognize that sooner rather than later.

I don't think he can drop out because he's getting public financing.

What’s interesting is that he previously made his brand being the “reasonable” council member who could respectfully disagree. His brand now seems more attuned to who he really is, a massive a-hole. When the chips are down is when we see the real people and since he’s been running this race from behind we’ve gotten to see the real Riemer and it is not pretty. Turns out he was acting all along and lacks respect for anyone who doesn’t agree with him.

It worked out pretty well with Obama.

Obama was a pretty conventional president, who admired the tenure of George HW Bush. Obama didn’t exactly upend things.

Ehlrich favors balanced growth. He’s not a developer shill.

I find it very difficult to believe Elrich favors anything balanced.

I'm voting for Reimer.
