If you’re plus size, what are you wearing this summer?

When it gets warmer I'll switch to my Eddie Bauer curvy Bermuda shorts, which are an 11 inch inseam (so, mid thigh). I wear both with Lands End cotton v-neck tees, in size Large/Tall because I have a long torso.

I wear dresses to work, but not for casual wear.

Can you post links to dresses you wear/styles that work for your body? I am also an 18 on the bottom and I can never find dresses that look good on me.

I got a couple dresses from Old Navy. I have nice legs (apple shape) so I wear shorts and V-neck Ts.

Summer sucks for pears.

Also dresses like these:

The floral dress is really cute.

Kiyonna is REALLY low cut.

Their wrap dress might be the most flattering thing I have ever worn at a higher weight. But definitely low cut, so used double sided tape to ensure there would be no disasters.

Sure. I look for a flared skirt below a defined waist ("fit and flare") and a v-neck if possible. A faux wrap is a good bet. I cannot wear a true wrap, I have too much going on below the waist.

I have this one from Amazon, I wear an XXL: https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B08GHNSYRQ/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_search_asin_title?ie=UTF8&th=1&psc=1

Faux wrap from Macys: https://www.macys.com/shop/product/dkny-womens-printed-faux-wrap-dress?ID=13837466&CategoryID=5449

Fit and flare from Macys, although I don't like the sleeves: https://www.macys.com/shop/product/dkny-twist-sleeve-fit-flare-dress?ID=13837416&CategoryID=5449

Sorry, I'm PP and the shirt dress link was wrong. I meant: https://www.macys.com/shop/product/calvin-klein-solid-midi-shirtdress?ID=11482393&CategoryID=5449
Although this one is unfortunately sold out in larger sizes.

Does anyone have recs for plus-size apple shapes (size 18-20)? This would ideally exclude puffy/flutter sleeves and anything with ties around the waist. Links to specific items would be great. I'll look up some of my favorites and post back with those as well.

I just wear linen shorts and a cotton tee or tank. It’s too hot here for anything else. Being fat does not mean I should have to be hotter than every else

This is so flattering and comfortable. I’m one of the DCUM poors but still bought this. I wear it all the time with different purses and accessories, so it looks like a new outfit. I also cover the touched waist with different belts. Wear it so much max it always looks like something new!
