Shooting at or near Burke HS?

Anonymous
There is a video of the shooting on the DC Police Twitter feed. It appears to show the shots fired into the Burke School glass walkway (which goes over an alley) from an apartment building on the other side of the alley. Fox5 showed police escorting a man in handcuffs from that apartment building just a few minutes ago. As well as escorting residents of the building away from the scene. I have never seen so many police and other emergency vehicles in one place.

And you won’t unless there is another similar shooting in upper NW again. Shame.

I know. Shootings all over the rest of the city never get a response anything close to this.

Don't disagree, but there are 10+ embassies within a block.

Not to mention that a school is/might be involved.

A hailfire of bullets went into a school. Kids are sheltered in place. Please don't pretend that wouldn't get a response ANYWHERE in the city. Equity arguments have addled your perspective.

Just shame on you. This was a shooting into a school while kids were leaving. Yes this would get a big response anywhere

This is getting scary. 7 more ambulances have arrived and special forces just arrived in an armored vehicle.

Still helicopters everywhere.

UDC and Howard Law School are right there too. The response is justified.

Someone said that the shooter live streamed the shooting. This is insane!!!
