Go take your negativity some where else. You worry about your broken heart, not about others

No broken heart here. Both my kids got in. Neither with a high score but a phenomenal GBRS score/rating. Just trying to manage expectations for the all parents that are riding the high score high horse!

Goodluck!

I would say most kids with high scores also have a high GBRS. Yes there are always the outliers but high scores increase the chance of getting in.

My child has low CogAT but good GBRS. Praying for a miracle.

Anonymous wrote:Dear parent, how did your daughter like the Mosaic AAP? We have no experience with this school. Scores are in range (COGAT 140 / NNAT 135), so admission is a possibility. Thank you.

Mosby was fine, also my kid didn't excel in anything in particular (says more about the kid than the school). Didn't get to finish 6th grade in-person due to the pandemic shutdown. She's doing fine academically at KJMS ... with all things considered ... and will start Fairfax High in the fall.

She was probably never TJ material, although I wish she would have applied just to go through the process.

Thank you! Did you find the teacher quality to be good? Excellent? Depends?

I hear some reports of bullying, did you find that to be true?

Mine is not TJ material either.

True. Scores above 140 have good chances of GBRS is good and also advanced in math and language arts.

How'd you get the GBRS, or are you speaking about a previous year? Our AART won't release until after decisions are sent out.
Anonymous
You can ask for GBRS before decisions come out.

You think the results will come today?

Why do we think today? Was thinking it would be the week before Spring Break…
Anonymous
No I think we have another week. Line it up with spring break, give all the mad moms time to chill.

Next week. I predict Thursday afternoon. Or maybe even Friday afternoon because it is a teacher workday and won’t want emails about it.
