Why isn’t anyone else running in District 5????

I believe the salary has been increased to $60k for this upcoming election. Still not great, but more than it was.

That was what a commission had recommended, but did it ever pass the General Assembly?

This isn't the USSR - spoiling your ballot doesn't actually change the outcome.

Writing in a candidate does not “spoil your ballot”.

Awesome! Mikey Mouse it is! (I hope they publish the counts for all candidates receiving ballots!)

Huh? Just run a decent issues based campaign and nobody can call you racist!

Steve Austin tried that and the woke machine smeared hi right out of town. They didn't date let someone with fresh liberal ideas win a BOE seat.

then Steve Austin it is... I'll write him in instead of Mickey Mouse!

Hmm, are they both residents of District 5?

Maybe. I like that they endorsed Moon (who is at least trying to clean up), but I'm waiting to see if the 2022 Apple ballot endorses anyone currently sitting on the board.

Valerie Coll of Silver Spring filed to run against incumbent Brenda Wolff for the District 5 seat on the Board of Education.

Everyone keeps bringing him up.

Didn't he post in his FB group that he moved out of MoCo?

+1. Looks like she had been teaching at Flora Singer before she retired in 2021.

Great. So our choices are Coll, a union shill, or Wolff who supports busing and teaching CRT principles to students. Frying pan or fire?

Why is she a union shill? She probably knows more about schools than the rest of the board put together, and 1000% more than Steve Austin, who flounced up north to Frederick.
