| Who you gonna call? |
+1 It’s a non issue for my middle schoolers. |
Oh yes it is. You and your high schooler don’t speak for the majority |
Tell me you don’t work with kids without telling me you don’t work with kids. |
Not sure what this is supposed to mean, but I both work with young kids and have older kids. Your line is cute, I guess, but it contributes nothing to this conversation |
| Many kids at our school are vaccinated, so is the staff and many have gotten covid. And cases are very very low. I don’t think it is being anti-mask to suggest the topic be raised. Perhaps schools do a survey. One thing I know is true is that the majority of people - students, teachers, parents- regardless of political affiliation are ready to allow masks to be optional. It’s time. |
No not ready. |
Why is it time? By what metric? |
| Not an anti-vaxxer. My kids have had 3 shots. The risk is very low. Time to get rid of the masks indoors. Teachers against it are promoting a culture of fear that is unhealthy for our children. |
Stop with your “cute” already. It’s annoying and it identifies you as posting multiple times. We know where you stand poster. Stop sock puppeting. |
|
Masks will come off when you are told. It’s as simple as that.
These ongoing posts by distressed “moms” serve no purpose other than a payday for trolls and endless amusement for the rest of us. Also stop reporting people’s posts in opposition. A little bit of humor goes a long way in humanizing your rather unsavory political agendas. |
How can you say there should be a survey in one sentence and in the next, claim to already know the result of the survey? |
Oh, I know! Do an anonymous petition like in this one school I know. Get ridiculed by your own kids and other parents. Whine on dcum incessantly ever since… All the schools have been gradually relaxing their regimes. The point of these posts is to stir up passions for certain iffy political agendas. Then claim victory when they inevitably come off. But the point is it’s not you.. not in our schools. We see you. We just find your views distasteful |
Worth repeating |
Teacher here...trying to protect my unvaccinated 18-month-old and my unborn baby... I wouldn't say I'm trying to instill fear in students, but more the idea of selflessness and "sacrificing" to protect others. I say "sacrificing" because it really isn't a huge deal to the students, it seems to be much more of an issue with parents. |
