What percentage of men cheat?

Anonymous
Studies say about half of men cheat.

Show me the man and I will give you a better answer. Is he attractive, charming and travels for work? Probably 80% or higher.
Anonymous
Same percentage as women.

Yes, it's the same as the percent of women that cheat. About 20% at any one time. Higher if you are looking at the life of a marriage and count any one incidence. This is from my own experience with the matter.

period

it’s a numbers game and we out number them

I always laugh and find myself wondering what type of messed up life experiences people had in order to make these dumb statements.

what an idiotic question.

Guy cheater here and I’d say 100%

It’s all about your frame of reference isn’t it? You’re a cheater so you are likely surrounded by cheaters and so think everyone cheats. I don’t cheat and many close friends haven’t cheated and so think that percentage is much lower. I think it’s likely 25%.

I’ve been overseas for the past 14 years, including in Eastern Europe. It has been really depressing to see how many men do cheat when presented with the option. The scenarios I have seen most often is when the man’s job takes a family overseas and the wife becomes a “trailing spouse” who doesn’t work and becomes uniquely dependent on the husband for socialisation, etc, changing the dynamic of their relationship. Meanwhile, the husband is suddenly in a community where he is treated as more successful and handsome than he actually was considered at home, and scores of young, beautiful local women are throwing themselves at him, actively seeking an American man and prepared to break up his marriage to get him. OR the man arrives alone for a shorter assignment, with wife and kids back home, and succumbs to one of the young women this way.

We estimated that about 75% of expat men cheat, either discretely or in a way that blows apart their marriage.

So I’m assuming that this percentage reflects the approximate proportion of men who WOULD cheat if put into the similar circumstances.

The DNA testing kits are showing that women actually cheat at a higher rate than previously believed. Even at a higher rate than men. It's much easier for a woman to cheat

Its hard to say as many falsify to boast when they haven't or hide when they have. Studies are skewed.

Or how much Cognitive dissidence you have to make your dumb statement.

It all depends how you define it. A full blown love affair lasting months or years? Maybe 25%. If you count a ONS on a business trip, escorts, massage parlors, or even kissing and everything but actual penetration, you are probably at 75% or higher at some point over a long marriage.

I’ll never forgot the first time I (then a young, single, and attractive though not gorgeous woman) attended my first professional conference. The amount of attention I received from married men was astounding. They were not shy at all! If I wanted to, I could have had a ONS with a different married man every night of the week.

So I think the percentage is very high among married men who travel for work and get to stay at nice hotels paid for by their employers, hundreds of miles away from their wives.

I had that experience as a 25-year old in a Fed agency in DC. In the Office.

That said, in my 52 years I have never had sex with a married man or cheated. Even with the countless opportunities thrown at me throughout my life.

I’m not a home wrecker and cheating is morally wrong. I think people that cheat are scumbags.

PP here. I’m a lawyer. I don’t do ONS (or married men) so I never partook, but other people must, because these guys were so brazen about it.

NP here. Totally brazen. Even the ones as a naive younger woman would think he was a morally straight and upstanding family man, he still propositioned me.

I would guess 50-75% of men cheat but the only reason the number isn't higher is that the other 25% try and fail or don't have the opportunity

Married men … 60%

Non married women? 70%

Married women…. 40%

Most married women cheat 28-35 years old

You must be a man. No way. This is when women are pregnant and/or have babies and young kids for several years, back to back. There is no time or energy to cheat during these years even if they wanted to.
