When does weight loss start with intermittent fasting?

Agreed. The number of calories within that window really matters.

For me it has always worked right away.

I lost 10 pounds in 2 months the first time I did it (going from 114 to 104, I am very short and petite)

And I've also lost 10 lbs the second time around, both after pregnancies. The only difference is I started at a higher weight for the second one and still trying to lose some more weight.

Are you eating less? Or are you eating what you normally ate but in a shorter window?

When your burn more calories than you consume in a meaningful way.

The point of IF is to let your body get hungry. Once you learn how to tolerate hunger you start to ‘like’ the feeling. As in, you become more aware of your appetite and overeating becomes uncomfortable. So the point is that it helps you eat less food.
