Acquity? Feckless? Russian to English translation is off. Or this kids SAT vocab prep. Either case, PP can’t handle the dollar words. (Is acquity a word?) |
OP is an 16 year old overdoing it on SAT words or a Russian with a crap translation program. Either way, the answer is no. |
Putin is doing a great job energizing NATO alliances. |
+1. This is good news. Let Europeans keep stepping up to take the lead in Europe. US has another set issues to deal with in the pacific theater they need to focus on. The US can continue to support Europeans via NATO while Europeans continue to build their capacity. |
Ukraine should have kept those nukes, at least some as a deterrent. This never happens if the still have them. That is a lesson for countries like North Korea and Iran to never give them up.
As for Macro , it doesn’t seem that his diplomacy is doing very well. Today was a bad day for him. |
Agree! The U.S. should not have to be the police for the whole world |
John Bolton punching air right now I bet. |
If you let Europe take the lead Russian talks would role through the entire eastern block. They may let them take a few EU countries like Romania and Poland before they actually maybe act. |
This is a Europe problem and it's quite appropriate that Europe is dealing with it. America has such a sense of entitlement to bossing other countries around, it acts positively stunned that somehow they can button their own trousers. |
Did Putin withdraw the 100,000 troops staged around Ukraine's border?
No? Then Macron did nothing. Look, all that happened is that Putin couldn't get Biden to budge, couldn't get Biden to make any concessions. And why should Biden? Ukraine is a sovereign nation, and should remain sovereign. Biden is playing hardball. Putin is just fishing for cracks with France and Germany. If Macron knows what's good for him he'd better follow Biden's lead, stand fast and not offer Putin a damned thing. |
True. Now stop funding nearly all of European defense. |
EU should start putting their money where their mouth is where it comes to defense and things like their dependence on Russian gas. Until we see that, along with Macron convincing Germany to take a much more aggressive posture against Russia, Macron isn't "leading" anything. |
Are you clinically insane? Putin is asking NATO to violate the sovereignty of a nation…..Biden isn’t “playing hardball” he’s merely following the dictates of international law. Are you the same Biden fangirl that fawns over him in every single thread? You’re an epic bore and none too bright. |
+1 |
All the pundits who have any business discussing this agree that Biden is handling this correctly. |
