Read about Armie’s parents - they are real pieces of work.

My guess is that Armie’s family has threatened to use their wealth to try to get sole custody. Has she even left The Caymans since the pandemic began? The FIL has a lot of political clout on the island and could make life very difficult for her.

I don’t know much about his family and their connection to the Caymans but if that’s the case it would be very foolish of her not to return with the kids to the US.

NP here. Do you think she has a getaway boat docked somewhere? She has to leave the island through the airports or other official channels and that’s not going to be possible if there’s a pending custody dispute.

PP here. Thanks. I’m glad too. She filed for divorce twice and each time, the courts were going to make her share custody despite overwhelming evidence of his lack of fitness as a human being, much less as a father. Each time, she called off the divorce and returned to solo parenting while nominally married to my father and encouraging him to travel, take up with other women, and basically just get lost. As soon as the youngest of us four children was in her teens, my mother ran for the hills with our full support.
