PP here. Thanks. I’m glad too. She filed for divorce twice and each time, the courts were going to make her share custody despite overwhelming evidence of his lack of fitness as a human being, much less as a father. Each time, she called off the divorce and returned to solo parenting while nominally married to my father and encouraging him to travel, take up with other women, and basically just get lost. As soon as the youngest of us four children was in her teens, my mother ran for the hills with our full support.[/quote]
