What do you all think of this? I can't believe she would take him back after everything that has come out. My wild guess is he's a narc and there's a trauma bond.

| They have a family together. He seems to have Madonna/wh0re issues. Of course he wants his family back. Regarding the wife taking him back, it’s not something I would do but perhaps she wants to stick around for the kids. |
Right, but she wants to be with and wants her kids around someone who's been accused of rape by multiple women? That's messed up. |
|
"He is really the love of her life," the insider adds. "They obviously had a lot of issues, but Armie's rehab stay showed that he was committed to big changes. They get along and enjoy hanging out with the kids."
Yuck. I just keep thinking about the cannibal fantasies and him violently assaulting his affair partner for four hours. If his wife is not completely disgusted by that, I just can’t even imagine what it would take. I believe in redemption but that guy is just so scary that I would not be surprised if he murdered and ate his family. |

| Maybe it’s a contract kind of thing - fake togetherness to save their careers; he looks better if his wife takes him back, saying he’s different after rehab, and then paradoxically, that kind of clears her of any negative association as his wife. It helps their children by extension, if their dad is seen as just another human who battled his demons in rehab and came out a better man who could live a normal life, rather than a sociopath who abuses women. |
| Good for them! Addiction makes people do crazy things. DCUM always sees the worst in people. |
Good point. I hadn’t thought of the benefits to all of them. |
| This is super crazy. It’s got to be a PR stunt. |
Not only that, but wasn’t he also into cannibalism? |
| I get it. Courts all too often allow abusers to share custody. Sharing custody with an animal like this means the children have no one to protect them. If she takes him back and leads a separate life, she can protect her children. My mother basically had full and exclusive custody of my siblings and I while married to my father essentially in name only. He is an awful human being and divorcing him to leave us in his “care” half the time would have been disastrous. |
| Wasn’t he like…. Hannibal lector type stuff????? |
| He needed her to rehabilitate his image, and probably paid her handsomely for agreeing to this. Agree with a PP that she is better able to protect her kids this way. Sincerely doubt they're together, together. |
| ^^remember he he has a new movie coming out this weekend, so the timing is not a coincidence. |
| $$$$. They are both broke but he has a huge trust, so she has to stick around for the $. |
