I eat 2 hardboiled with a bit of salt every morning for breakfast |
Scrambled with Honey goat cheese and sautéed tomatoes |
It depends what nutrients you are in need of. The yolk is mostly fat, cholesterol, some vitamins. Maybe OP just wants the protein? If you are eating eggs with cheese, you really don't need the added fat from the yolk too |
That "some vitamins" translates into a whole lot of nutrients, including vitamin D. True, if the OP was looking for highest protein/lowest calorie, remove the yolk. But if OP was looking for "healthy" overall, as in the title, removing the yolk would be the opposite of that. |
Over easy or poached over arugula salad
Scrambled with spinach, peppers, onion, potatoes Baked tortilla with potatoes and spinach or kale Hard boiled plain or with a little mustard Sliced hard boiled on toast with a little butter or a smear of Mayo and mustard (I call this lazy egg salad and eat it for breakfast all the time) Over easy or made in a cup with an English muffin for an easy egg sandwich. Add a slice of tomato or some spinach. |
