What are the skincare products you can’t live without?

You will read about 8 different things that are managed by layering, etc.

Bottom line- the only thing is
1. Sunblock
2. A good moisturizer
Literally, that is it. The rest is just playtime and $$.

Sunscreen - Elta MD or Supergoop
Retin-A - I use this over my Innisfree face moisturizer twice a wekk.
Vitamin C serum - this goes under my suncreen every morning.
Moisturizer - for my face, I use Innisfree in the AM and PM; for my body, I use Cerave in the tub

I use a mild cleanser - whatever's on sale or a sample. Just a pea size amount in the shower at night. I rinse with water in the AM .

Sente dermal repair in the morning and a gentle topical retinol at night have made a big difference for both reducing acne and tightening my skin (I'm 41). EltaMD sunscreen every morning.

If I had to choose one, facial oil. I like herbivore and drunken elephant for brands.

Except that tretinoin has actual scientific evidence of anti-aging benefits, so add that one to the list.

I use a cleansing oil (typically DHC) then follow up with regular cleanser after (usually La Roche Posay Toleriane).

This - Tretinoin is where it's at. Get a prescription online and work your way up.

I don't spend a lot on anything - Cerave AM Moisturizer (or the lighter SPF one), hydrating cleanser, and either the PM moisturizer or the thick moisturizer in the tub (always this one in winter and when using Tret). My "added bonus" products are the Ordinary Hyaluronic Acid, Niacinamide, and Squalane (over my moisturizer). I'm looking for a new vitamin product to add in the morning, I received Summer Fridays CC serum as a gift which is nice but not worth $80.
