| DePaul, also in Chicago and also on the quarter schedule with an early January start, is doing first two weeks online. |
This is such a dumb reason. |
Why? Because the virus only attacks in states that aren't in the south? Wow, all those reports about hospitals closing in some southern states due to covid-caused overcrowding must have been false! Or because you assume colleges in the south are...not very good at taking a pandemic seriously? So you can be assured your kid will go to class in person even if a virus is tearing through campus? Either way, you're pretty ignorant and allowed your child to continue that tradition. Congrats. |
| NYU |
| Emerson just announced that classes will be virtual for the first week back in January, allowing everyone to be tested twice before returning to in-person. |
and you are why we are in this situation.... |
But at least we got rid of the mean tweets guy. |
| University of Illinois is online for the first week. 1/17 -1/24. Everyone needs two negative Covid tests 3 days apart between those dates to return to campus. |
| The UC system also announced going virtual first two weeks. With the exception of Berkeley, they are all on a quarter system and classes begin January 3. |
