That’s what CNN reported but NBC4 is reporting that it starts tomorrow morning.

Per the slide deck PP share mask mandate starts at 6am Dec 21.

Oh yes we did.

Errr... What's the population in DC? Are there about 1,000 libraries?

The slide show says that 1,000,000 rapid tests have been ordered. 42,000 are already available. 200,000 are in transit.

And, yes, the city's population is about 700,000. Presumably we would go through the tests in one day. But this is better than nothing. My family and our three guests will try to avail ourselves of our free test to make the one gathering we are having safer than it would have been otherwise.

Tests are not for your guests. They are for DC residents

When vaccinated and boosted people are still getting it, you can be sure that fabric mask you can see through if you hold it up to your eye won’t do much of anything. And eventually people will come to realize this.

I don’t know. People seem to love their pacifiers.

Yes they did. Even employees in restaurants did. I was pretty surprised.

Wear the right masks then. Problem solved.

Did she also close indoor dining and bars?

No. If you do indoor dining or bars anywhere, you know the chance you are taking at this point.

Unless you’re living completely inside a positive pressure bubble you’re not going to evade it forever. It’s in the air. It’s on surfaces. It’s everywhere in the environment. We’re all going to get infected sooner or later. May as well just accept that.

I prefer to get infected after all the people who refuse to wear masks, get vaccinated or bolstered, or those who eat or drink indoors in public places. Eventually the virus mutates so it doesn't kill as many people.

The goal is to get it in the last wave or thereafter, not in the multiple waves before that.

Masks don't work. Data shows that. .08% of the population lost their lives from/with Covid...the other 99.92% had their lives taken by the government.

I had stopped, too. Now I'm supposed to go back to wearing one in my empty DC government office. Awesome.

What about the employees who are forced to work there?

Shouldn't we all be paying them to stay home and not work?
