Who is going to replace Cuomo Prime Time?

Most people?

Not at all. It's astroturfed on social media, so if you follow political dorks, you see it far more than its ratings. Hardly anyone watches this crap but senile boomers and airport terminals. Nearly all CNN shows have less than 1M viewers total -- in a nation with 330M residents?

Tapper will get the gig. It's his time to cash in. But I personally find him insufferable and phony; he's so clearly a closeted pompous/elitist a-hole.

Jake Tapper already has a 2-hour show five days a week from 4-6PM EST. You think he's giving it up for a one-hour slot later at night?

I love CNN. I’m a young thirties woman. Watched daily during the trunk admin and election, though have been admittedly taking a much needed breather from cable news since. Love me some Jake tapper, Anderson Cooper, wolf blitzer, dana bash and John king. Cuomo was actually among my least favorite- very “broey”

Cuomo Prime Time was averaging 791K viewers. It was CNN's highest rated program in total viewers in November.

Wow. Can't imagine people wanting to see Cuomo that much.

Jim Acosta? or Abby Phillips or that girl who's their Chief WH correspondent (although that's probably a better gig honestly).

Bingo. I can't stand him. Completely insufferable, whiney man-baby. And he's so condescending to Dana Bash. Let Tapper take this and Dana can take over his show.

They need new blood. Move Don Lemon to the 9pm slot and give a fresh face Don's old slot. It's got to be someone with a fiery take on the issues, someone who will make headlines.

Please don't give it to one of the Gen X snoozers currently in the CNN stable.

Of those listed, I think I like Dana Bash the best. Or maybe go for a wild card and do W. Kamau Bell? I haven't seen much of his stuff but he seems bright and like he might be a little more compelling.
I like Tapper but I don't think he really "puts butts in seats", as they say. And I can't imagine he'd give up a decent workhour type show for a late night, which is going to pull him away from evenings with his daughter who I think is in middle school now.
