| Maidan. I can't afford a $200-$300 restaurant, and given the low food standards in this area I wouldn't even want to splurge like that here even if I had the money. |
| Little Pearl. I like ot better than Rose's Luxury and Pineapple & Pearls (the chef's other restaurants). |
| I also really like Little Pearl. Metier is wonderful and a true special occasion experience. |

Bistro L’Hermitage is fantastic, but you have to be willing to brave a lot of traffic. Food cost is excellent considering the quality, though, and the waitstaff was fantastic when I went.

Wow, that's pretty impressive that your standards are higher than Michelin, the James Beard Foundation, Bon Appetit, Esquire, etc. considering they've been throwing stars and "best new chef/restaurant" awards at DC left and right for years now. Curious, which world-renowned publication do you review for that makes you more qualified to pass judgement? Or did you earn your expertise in the kitchen and if so, how many stars do you have? |

| Nine really. Baltimore's food is way better, except maybe Asian, which is better in NoVa and around Rockville. |

This. Georgian food is delicious. And wine is out of this world. Recommend. |
You didn't get the wine pairings so your opinion on fine dining is suspect.

I do not eat at places that price often.
The best place, and it is a little lower than that price point, is Clarity in Vienna. tasting menu is $92. |
| Another vote for Albi. Really good food. |
