Supply chain shortages / inflation: Petty things that are affecting you

Per Bloomberg: "The supply-chain crunch appears to have already peaked in the U.S.

Evidence keeps piling up to suggest that the U.S. is slowly but surely making progress in easing freight congestion and supply shortages"

Wegman's in Tyson's had them last night.

I’m not in dmv, but thanks!

Whole Foods gets all the good strawberries. (Seriously…when all the other grocery stores cut their strawberry orders at the beginning of the pandemic, Whole Foods snapped up the contracts and that is why Whole Foods has the best and most strawberries.)

They typically disappear at thanksgiving and return shortly thereafter…none at my WF last week, but, already back this week.

I have a pair of boots on order that they keep pushing the expected ship date back by a week! I assume they are sitting in one of those containers at a port in CA that no one can move.

3rding cat food, specifically the 24 and 30 packs of the Fancy Feast gravy. They have it on stock on Target.com so just grabbed a few boxes!

I ordered Taylor Swift merch for my daughter’s bday well ahead of time. Her bday has come and gone and it still has not arrived.

Pillsbury pie crusts were out when I had the groceries delivered yesterday. So that meant I had to actually make pie crust, go to the store in person or buy prepared pies. I went and bought the last couple of boxes in a different store today. I was annoyed at the time waste. Total petty thing.

I’ve regularly bought them at Walmart, including recently enough to still be in the fridge.

Tons of pie crusts at Giant this morning- I hadn't bought enough and needed one more...

Maybe some of this is store or chain specific than nationwide supply chain?

They had it at Harris teeter Harrison st the other day. Only that, coke, cherry Coke Zero and Diet Coke. There is a major aluminum shortage.

Cat food - where are you Sheba?

Passports - why are they taking so long to renew ?

Wood and other materials for renovations

Worst of all, Play Station 5 - have been trying for a year!
