My 29-month-old little guy has been potty training. We teach him to put on his own underwear and sometimes he rushes and ends up pulling his tighties up so high that he gives himself a wedgy. The other day, he came out of the bathroom and declared, "I hurt me pee pee. I need a band-aid for me pee pee. Want to go to the doctor to get some medicine and ultrasound." DH is a radiologist.

I have a three year old. Things that can be overheard at my house:

DH "OWWW!"
DS " Huh huh! Daddy, I got your penis!"

Me, said while changing DS#2's diaper: "Honey, please leave your little brother's penis alone."
DS "But it is so cute!" (kissing sound) "I LOVE my brodur's penis!"

My little guy is five months and has just discovered it. Oh, the look of joy when he gets a diaper change and it is unloosed.

My little guy plays with it all the time these days - often with both hands. Every time the diaper comes off, he goes at it immediately, which can be pretty gross if there's a poopy diaper!

While mine (now 19 months) is in the tub I floss and brush my teeth. Around 12 months he wanted to do the same thing, so I would give him some floss and he would try to do his teeth, and I would give him a brush and he would brush his teeth. I have one of those battery operated brushes, so after the awe of his wore off he wanted to try mine. He loves it, while he was teething I think it felt good on his gums, one day he put it up to his penis and balls and apparently it feels very good because he looked at me with a shit eating grin on his face and was like "oohhhhh" I almost peed myself laughing. I have the best picture of him with this huge grin in the tub, and if you look close enough you can see him sitting on the toothbrush. Needless to say I don't use that one anymore

My son is potty training and recently had a poopie accident. He was a mess so I put him into the bathtub and washed him down with the hand-held shower head. He was pretty upset about having to "take a shower" so I figured that would be that.

The next day, he pooped in his underpants again. When I asked him why he did it, he said "I want you to put me in the tubby and tickle my penis with the water again." Oy!

As a mom of a 2 year old DS, I truly loved and laughed out loud at this post. Glad to know our adventures are shared. Don't think we've experienced anything not already posted but I do wish DH would stop repeatng DS's quesion about where is mommy's penis. Thanks for posting.

my DS isn't enamored with his penis, but every now and again in the tub, it's like he's discovering it for the first time. "mommy, what's that?" Me: "i told you, your penis". DS, "oh, tickle, tickle, tickle". now he says, "boys have a penis. mommy has no penis". i'm trying to teach him that girls have a "vagina", but maybe that's too much info at 2?

My almost 3 year old is always asking where my penis is. He says I have a bagIna. Also always grabbing, pulling, smacking, flicking, stretching, and rubbing his penis.

He is potty training but when I do have to change a diaper he sings "Clean the wee wee, clean the wee wee, clean the stinky pee pee wee wee" do the tune of Oh My Darlin'. It's hysterical because as he sings it he wipes it down. Taking care of the important parts of personal hygiene.

We went through a period where every time we looked DS had his penis pulled out of his pants, including while sitting in the grocery cart at the store and in restaurants. Luckily we've taught him to keep it in while out in public, but we're still working on keeping him from sticking his hand down his pants and playing with himself while out in public (sorry to anyone dining at Comet this week).

We also have a little guy (14 months) who loves to play with his penis. Everytime the diaper comes off his hands are down there. Then we the diaper is back on, he's trying to figure out how to get to his pee pee through the diaper. This thread is soo funny!
