is it worth it to get a Costco membership for new tires

I just really really dont understand this at all. I guess the wait would be about 15 minutes on average to fill up gas. Plus you need to drive a couple of miles to get gas if you are not going to Costco for something else.

I can not recommend Costco for tires. Bought 4 new tires 18 months ago and got a nail in one of them last week. Dropped it off at Costco only to be told that the warranty is no longer valid as I did not take the car in for tire rotation after 7500 miles. At no point during the original purchase did anyone explain this requirement to me. I definitely feel cheated by this. Won’t be buying any more tires from them.

I love Cocsto (DC location), I go every 2 weeks. They have gas and liquor. With that said, I have never used them for tires. I go to Walmart.

Did you get them rotated elsewhere? There was fine print on my receipt (bought in 2020) that it was acceptable to do that

The first condition of the warranty at the top for the first page of the warranty is:

"You must rotate and balance your tires as outlined by the vehicle manufacturer."

I's still start the arbitration process because paying you is cheaper than going through an arbitration

Most suburbian Costcos have gas.

DP, and +1 to the extreme length of time it takes them to accomplish anything, and but I'll add:

When I went in to order the tires, I mentioned I needed the air sensor replaced on one, and asked to add it to the order. The lady told me "no, you don't order those, we always have them." When the tires came in, the exact same woman told me "you have to special order those, I'm not sure who you spoke with."

I'm typically a Costco superfan but their tire department is trash.

Tire rotation is silly. Tires rarely go out of balance. So another “warranty” worth nothing. Costco, I’m surprised.
