From my personal experience with Costco tire service for 2 cars (sedan and minivan) in VA, - Installation took 2 hours each with appointment - Tire rotation took 1.5 hour with appointment - They lost one of my wheel-lock nuts (minivan) and didn't tell me. I got the car back around dusk, so didn't notice it until a few weeks after. - One of the sedan's tires keeps losing air, I have to pump some air every 2-3 days. Took it in, they determined it's the valve, changed it, and a few days later, same problem. I'm dreading about taking it in again due to long wait. Next time I'll take my car to NTB or one of the other tire places.
DP, and +1 to the extreme length of time it takes them to accomplish anything, and but I'll add: When I went in to order the tires, I mentioned I needed the air sensor replaced on one, and asked to add it to the order. The lady told me "no, you don't order those, we always have them." When the tires came in, the exact same woman told me "you have to special order those, I'm not sure who you spoke with." I'm typically a Costco superfan but their tire department is trash.
